The Office of the United Nations Envoy stated that it had met with Houthi militia chief negotiator, Mohamed Abdeslam, to discuss ongoing United Nations consultations and efforts to address the volatile humanitarian situation in Yemen, including the option of deciding a truce expected during the holy month of Ramadan, with Grundberg resuming talks with the other groups to the competition.
