“The Israeli navy detained four Gazan fisherman when they were fishing off the Sudanese shores in the northern Gaza Strip,” Nizar Ayesh, the captain of the Palestinian Fishermen’s Syndicate, said this morning.
Walid Hamza Zayed, Hamouda Yassin Zayed, Younis Amin Abu Warda, and Muhammad Amin Abu Warda, the fisherman, were arrested and have not been released until now, Ayesh reported.
It’s worth noting that Israeli army boats harass fishermen at sea on a daily basis, arresting them and seizing their boats.
