Foreign Ministry condemns ongoing Israeli attack on Jerusalem Churches
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday condemned the settlers’ barbaric attack on the Holy Spirit Church, and the Greek Garden on Mount Zion in occupied Jerusalem.
The Ministry described in a press statement that the Israeli settlers provocated Palestinians via its ongoing and barbaric attacks on Palestinian churches, and its vandalism of its properties, tampering with its contents, exhuming the dead, and throwing garbage in its courtyards.
“provocative and ongoing attack on churches and their properties to deepen the annexation and Judaization of Jerusalem and its Christian and Islamic holy sites,” according to a statement.
The ministry asserted that the Israeli ongoing targeting of churches reflects the its racist and fascist mentality control over the occupying state’s decision-making centers and institutions.
“The Israeli army didn’t do any thing to prevent the Jewish terrorist organizations armed militias, and their sabotage elements, but instead provide cover for them”.
The ministry holds the Israeli government, headed by Naftali Bennett, full responsible for the ongoing attack, adding that its violations of international law and signed accords aimed at changing the historical and legal reality of Jerusalem.
