Haniyeh: Lebanon lives with us same pain, hope to return to Palestine
Head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, emphasized, during a Lebanese-Palestinian national celebration organized by the movement in Sidon, “in this celebration, where Lebanon embraces Palestine, the brother of the Palestinian people, Lebanon, the resistance and who embraced this the Palestinian wound over the past 74 years, longing for the sword and the rifle, despite the siege and the internal and external conditions”.
Haniyeh said on Sunday in a press release, “We are in the victories era, this Gaza besieged by land, sea, and air for 15 years, fought wars, and raised (the sword of Jerusalem). Today, our resistance is preparing for a strategic battle with this Israeli enemy.”
He said, “We are in the age of good news, despite the challenges in Jerusalem. It was called Palestine and will remain Palestine, and our people will not give up their land and their sanctity”.
“After bad years, Palestine will rise up again, Jenin will rise up and raise the banner of Al-Qassam with the villages and cities of the West Bank.” They marched to Jerusalem, tied up and stood in the face of Israel, and thwarted the plans of temporal and spatial division, and they raised the call to prayer when an old Palestinian woman stood with her cane”.
Haniyeh said, “Al-Aqsa Mosque has no place for Jews and settlers in it. They want to slaughter sacrifices. I tell you from here, from Lebanon, the capital of the resistance, from the heart of the camps. I tell you that the Palestinian people, and from the rock of the mosque, your hopes and dreams will be destroyed, and there is no future for you, Palestine, Jerusalem, And Al-Aqsa, our people in Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, exile and our Arab and Islamic nation, Jerusalem blew up the first, second and third Intifada”.
He concluded, “there is a conspiracy against Jerusalem and Israeli projects, but rest assured, our people are stationed in the courtyards of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa defending them and all of Palestine.”
