Russia to face tightened sanctions after Bucha videos

The US administration assumed the option of constricting sanctions against Russia over the formation of alleged street-body videos in Ukraine’s Bucha.

The United States investigated the case of constricting sanctions against Russian Defence, “No one in Bucha, and Kyiv province has been harmed by any violence during our troops’ presence there”.

The Washington Post reported that representatives of US President Joe Biden’s administration had already discussed tougher responses, but no decision had yet been taken.

The range of potential sanctions is not yet clear, but senior US officials have previously spoken that boycotts could affect countries that continue to trade with Russia.

In addition, the Biden administration may set sanctions on sectors of the Russian economy that have not been targeted before, particularly the mining industry, transportation, and the financial sector.

A spokesman for the United States Department of the Treasury declined to comment on this published information.

US state spokesman Ned Price said that the US would continue to increase the pressure until the Kremlin eases its perspective.

Price demonstrated that the State Department did not intend to disclose possible punishments in advance.

Earlier, Ukrainian authorities and the media dismissed a video allegedly filmed in the city of Bucha, where the bodies of the dead are seen on the road.

The followers noted that the “bodies” pushed their arms and removed their limbs so as not to fall under the wheels of the military vehicle. Also, in the rearview mirror of the operator’s car, you can see how one of the “dead” rises once the car passes.

In response, the Russian Ministry of Defence stated that all photos and videos published by the Kyiv regime, allegedly indicating crimes by Russian military personnel in the city of Bucha, Kyiv province, are nothing but a new provocation”.
