+542m of covid19 cases recorded in the world, What about deaths?
A statistic from the Reuters news agency showed that more than 542 million people were infected with the Covid-19 virus all over the world, while the total number of deaths reached more than 6.7 million.
The sources confirmed that HIV infections have been recorded in more than 210 countries and regions since the first cases were discovered in China in December 2019.
What is interesting is that China, the origin of the covid-19 center as everybody knows, did not appear in the list of the largest countries, whether in terms of the number of infections or deaths.
There is a list of the top ten countries in terms of the number of injuries:
1. The United States: about one million and 15 thousand deaths, and 87 million and 86 thousand injuries.
2. India: about 525,000 deaths, and 43 million and 419 thousand injuries.
3. Brazil: about 670,000 deaths, and 32 million and 79 thousand injuries.
4. France: about 149 thousand deaths, and 30 million and 80 thousand injuries.5. Germany: about 141 thousand deaths, and 27 million and 791 thousand injuries.
6. The United Kingdom: about 178,000 deaths, 22 million, and 240 thousand injuries.
7. Russia: about 806,000 deaths, and 18 million 424,000 injuries.
8. Italy: about 168 thousand deaths, and 18 million and 343 thousand injuries.
9. South Korea: about 25 thousand deaths, and 18 million and 339 thousand injuries.
10. Turkey: about 99 thousand deaths, and 15 million and 86 thousand deaths.
With regard to the most Arab countries in terms of the number of injuries and their arrangement in the total list, Iraq came to the forefront in the Arab world and 41st globally, with the number of deaths reaching about 25 thousand, and injuries about two million and 341 thousand, while Jordan came second at the Arab level and 46th globally. The number of deaths reached about 14 thousand, and injuries amounted to about one million and 699 thousand.
Reuters clarified that its census was based on data from ministries of health and government officials in different countries, until 10:00 GMT on Tuesday evening, 28 June 2022.
