IOF arrests 360 Palestinians in June 2022
Palestine Center for Prisoners Studies announced on Sunday, July 3, that the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped 360 Palestinians, including 39 kids and 12 women during the last June.
The center confirmed in a monthly said on Sunday that the Israeli forces restarted their custody campaigns targeting the Palestinians, in Jerusalem in special, over the past month. The statement explained that 150 Palestinians from Jerusalem have been arrested in June.
In addition, the Israeli occupation forces apprehended 15 civilians in the Gaza Strip, including 8 fishermen. A number of them were freed hours after their arrest, and others were transferred for interrogation in Askalan prison.
Riad Al-Ashqar, the director of the Palestine Center for Prisoners Studies, stated that 39 minors were detained, and the Israeli occupation custody of the 2-year- child Hamoudi Ammash sets a serious precedent. According to the information, the occupation detained 12 women, most of them from Jerusalem.
Al-Ashqar demonstrated that during the month of May, the occupation courts reported 153 administrative detention orders, ranging from two to six months.
4700 Palestinians are currently held inside Israeli jails, including 28 women and 170 children. Meanwhile, around 640 Palestinians are held under administrative detention in Israeli jails without accusation or trial.
