Enhancing Turkish-Israeli links to reinforce regional stability: Israeli FM
Enhancing Turkish-Israeli ties will support regional stability, Israeli foreign minister, Yair Lapid, said on Tuesday.
Yair Lapid’s comments came during his visit to the Greek capital Athens, where he reached on Tuesday for a tripartite summit among foreign ministers of Israel, Greece, and the Greek Cypriot government.
The “warming of relations” between Turkey and Israel, Lapid said “It is a blessed chance whose time has come,” according to a press statement by Israel’s Foreign Ministry.
He noted, “It also produces a great opportunity to deepen our ties and strengthen regional stability”.
