Kinder Surprise eggs cause serious illness
Kinder Surprise eggs cause serious illness, in Britain, approximately 63 people, the majority of whom were young children, were infected with salmonella in an event linked to the “Kinder Surprise” egg, which is popular among both children and adults and is a chocolate egg with a little toy inside.
The British news agency “PA Media” described the Food Standards Agency as saying that the chocolate producer, “Ferrero,” is in the process of withholding some quantities of the famed egg, which is manufactured in Belgium, as a precaution while investigations into the event proceed.
More infections have been reported in European nations such as Ireland, France, Germany, Sweden, and the Netherlands.
There have been no deaths reported in the United Kingdom, however, the majority of cases have been youngsters aged five or younger.
Ferrero recalled the items and warned consumers not to consume them.
The Food Standards Agency stated that the chocolate eggs were all created in the same factory and that there was no reason to believe that other Ferrero goods were harmed.
