Spaghetti on Mars!!
NASA’s Perseverance rover revealed a photo of a strange thing on Mars compared to spaghetti pasta, which looks like tangled threads or ripped material clinging to each other.
The photo was taken by a camera that avoids the front hazard of the rover, which monitors the landscape to protect it while driving or using its robotic arm, according to NASA.
Experts said the most likely interpretation of the interlocking thing is debris from the landing mission. Perseverance, which is responsible for investigating the Red Planet for signs of ancient life, has seen the remains of its landing gear from near and far away.
In June, the rover also documented a small piece of thermal blanket mounted on a rock, which they believe came from the landing phase.
The anarchic mystery object’s wider view shows its relationship with one of the wheels of the rover and the end of the robotic arm.
It is clarified that the rock in which the rover is currently investigating is an important sampling site, with the Perseverance vehicle located in the former Jezero Crater to explore the Delta River, a key location for the search for signs of ancient microbial life.
