Signs of near stroke
Stroke is one of the most common reasons and factors of mortality in the world, along with heart disease and cancers, it affects not only older adults but also young people and even children.
Russian physician Jaroslav Ashekhmin, a cardiologist, revealed that severe headaches and high blood pressure may indicate a near heart attack or stroke.
He said, “stroke may be preceded by severe headaches. So, in this case, the level of blood pressure should be monitored. If it is higher than 140/90 mm. a mercury column, which refers to a hazardous situation ” according to Russia today.
The specialist said, “myocardial infarction and stroke typically affect smokers and people with excess weight, obesity, and high blood pressure“.
He added it is recommended to monitor the level of cholesterol in the blood, to avoid heart problems caused by blockages of blood vessels.
According to him, it is necessary to undergo annual medical examinations and receive the necessary treatment, in order to reduce the risk of myocardial infarction and stroke.
