Valder Segato, a famous Brazilian bodybuilder nicknamed “Dull” died after injecting himself with oil for muscle growth.
The famous Brazilian bodybuilder seemingly injected himself with an overdose of a muscle boost drug on his 55th birthday, inspired by former bodybuilding champion, Hollywood actor, and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzinger.
Segato, 55, had been injecting himself with the drug “Synthol” for years, enjoying enormous muscles, and had become very similar to the hero in the film series “Wonder Decimation” or “Green Giant”.
According to the British Daily Mail, Segato said in 2016 that “they call me the nickname ‘Wonder Doom’, and I like that. I have doubled my biceps, but I still want to be bigger and bigger. ”
According to the newspaper, that year, Segato was warned that using more drug that develops muscles and makes them bigger could put him at risk of nerve and amputation damage, but he explained that he liked to draw attention to himself, and said, “I made my muscles bigger twice, but I want more.”
On the day of his death, Segato felt unwell and went to a neighbor for help, where he complained of shortness of breath, to be taken to the hospital where he lost consciousness in the emergency room and doctors could not save him.
Synthol is used as a drug to increase muscle mass, consisting of oil, painkillers, alcohol, and lidocaine, but regular use of this drug may lead to muscle atrophy and sores, and in severe cases may require amputation of one limb.
Europ Popmead Centralsaid that this drug can cause “nerve damage, obstruction of the lung, obstruction of the pulmonary artery, myocardial infarction, stroke, and infectious complications.”
Segato was posting images of transformations in his body on social media, and he went on to call himself “Waldir Sinthol” on his Instagram account, while his followers on TikTok reached 1.7 million.
