Watch… Paraglider survives death at last minute
A Paraglider escaped death at the last moment before landing on the ground after strong winds caused ropes to tangle around his body at risk.
The British Daily Mail reported on Thursday that the incident occurred in Organia, northern Spain, while Kevin Philip was practicing free, gravitational acrobatic jumping in the region.
A video documented moments when the Swiss Paraglider faced a serious problem, namely the interlocking of his body with umbrella ropes, and the disturbance in the Paraglider’s movement continued for some time.
Eventually, moments before the deadly collision with the ground, the Paraglider was able to use the manual opening of two spare parachutes, making a landing on the ground safe according to Sky News.
The video was shot with a 360-degree camera mounted on the Paraglider helmet and posted the video on his YouTube account, where he said the problem began when he tried to implement the Akrobatic movement.
There was other footage, filmed from the ground, that showed the extent of the parachute’s rapid fall before it was remedied, as the landing was largely intact.
