The American company, Apple, launched the new iOS 16 operating system, which serves the iPhone 8 and its successors.
The operating system carries a new order, which is the redesign of the screen lock, in addition to the ability to cancel sending messages, according to the Al-Masry Al-Youm news website.
The user can choose the image displayed during the “lock screen” mode, in conjunction with displaying other elements at the same time, such as the weather.
The user can adjust what appears on the screen in the “lock” state, according to the times, such as making a certain image appear on the screen during work times, while other images appear when he is outside work, to maintain his privacy .
The new system makes it possible to hide up to some applications during work time, in exchange for blocking messages from colleagues, for example, when the user is abroad .
The user can return to the message he sent, in order to make modifications to it or cancel it permanently, provided that this is done within a period not exceeding 15 minutes after pressing the send button .
Besides, if the user is busy and receives a message they want to ignore immediately, the new operating system can make it appear as unread yet .
The new features include what is known as the “lock mode” that helps protect the phone from being exposed to cyber attacks or electronic hacking .
When this mode is turned on, the iPhone user has stopped receiving calls, messages, and sharing photos from all unknown people .
This situation prevents the iPhone from being connected to any other “cable”, in case the device falls into unsafe hands, and any invitations and links from unknown sources are also blocked .
This system was first announced last June, and then it was confirmed at the party held by Apple, last week, and announced the release of a number of new devices .
Apple announced that this system was designed to take advantage of the features in the iPhone 14 Pro phone, providing users with a new way to lock the screen .
