Press Release: Reformist Democratic Faction-Fateh Movement, Condemns Israeli Violent Mass Assault on Peaceful Muslim Worshippers in Al-Aqsa Mosque
East Jerusalem, Palestine – The Reformist Democratic Faction in Fateh Movement, through its spokesperson Dimitri Diliani, strongly condemns the violent mass assault carried out by Israeli forces against peaceful Muslim worshippers in Al-Aqsa Mosque earlier this morning. This brutal attack on innocent civilians, who were peacefully exercising their right to worship in one of the holiest sites in Islam, is a flagrant violation of human rights and international law.
The Reformist Democratic Faction in Fateh Movement denounces this heinous act by the Israeli authorities, which has resulted in numerous injuries and arrests of Palestinian worshippers, including women, children, and elderly individuals. This is yet another manifestation of the ongoing aggression and oppression faced by the Palestinian people, particularly in occupied East Jerusalem.
We affirm our unwavering commitment to resist all illegitimate attempts by Zionist extremists to change the status quo in East Jerusalem. The Reformist Democratic Faction in Fateh Movement stands alongside our fellow Palestinians in defending our rights and protecting our holy sites, including Al-Aqsa Mosque, which holds deep religious and cultural significance for Muslims around the world.
We call upon the international community, including the United Nations and relevant human rights organizations, to condemn this blatant act of aggression by the Israeli forces and take immediate action to hold them accountable for their violations of international law. We also urge the international community to support the Palestinian people’s just struggle for freedom, justice, and self-determination.
The Reformist Democratic Faction in Fateh Movement reaffirms its commitment towards ending the illegal occupation, achieving a just and lasting solution to the injustice caused by the illegal military terrorist Israeli occupation.
