IOF shoots dead 20-year-old Palestinian in Jericho
Israeli forces shot dead a Palestinian man during an incursion on the Aqabet Jaber refugee camp in the occupied West Bank city of Jericho, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported.
The man was 20-year-old Ahmad Ibrahim Owaidat. The Ministry of Health said he had been shot in his head in the early hours of Tuesday.
The Ministry reported that Owaidat was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Ramallah hospital and remained there for many hours before he was pronounced dead.
Israeli forces launched a predawn raid on the camp and captured over two Palestinians.
In reaction to the murder of the Fatah movement in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, it was announced a general strike on Tuesday.
Two other Palestinians were shot dead over the last week in the West Bank; 21-year-old Lutfi al-Labadi and 18-year-old Hanan Khdour were shot during Israeli occupation raids in Jenin.
