Israeli forces abduct four Palestinians in West Bank: sources
Israeli soldiers on Thursday overnight arrested at least four Palestinians from different parts of the West Bank, eyewitnesses, and security sources.
It added that Israeli forces arrested two Palestinians, in their 20s, after forcibly storming and ransacking the houses of their families in the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia.
It said that another was jailed after being stopped at the permanently-staffed Jalameh checkpoint, northeast of Jenin. The inmate was identified as a resident of the city.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces arrested another from the vicinity of Jerusalem’s Bab al-Amoud after 250,000 people gathered to attend prayers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque to mark Laylat al-Qadr.
The inmate was identified as a citizen of the southern West Bank town of Halhul.
Israeli forces always ransack Palestinian homes almost on a daily basis across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, leading to clashes with citizens.
