Hamas: Storming Al-Aqsa Mosque is “playing with fire”
The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, “Hamas”, said in a press statement on Wednesday that the storming of Al-Aqsa complex on Thursday, means playing with fire, and the Israeli army have to bear its responsibility for the consequences.
The statement clarified that the Israeli army allowed it’s settlers to storm the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque on Thursday, which means that it is playing with fire and dragging the region into a massive escalation, therefore it has to bear the full responsibility for any consequences.
According to the statement, Hamas called on the Palestinian people to gather at the Al-Aqsa Mosque and to deploy in Jerusalem, in defense of the Palestinian identity, the Islamic religion and the first shrine.
The statement also stated that the Israeli army’s attempts to divide the time and space of Al-Aqsa, and the projects of Judaizing the Palestinian sanctities will not pass, and will not achieve its goals.
