Hamas: Palestinian worshipers thwart Israeli planes at Al-Aqsa
Hamas spokesman, Hazem Qassem, on Thursday praised the heroism and resistance of Palestinian worshipers inside Al-Aqsa Mosque during their confrontation with the occupation and the settlers storming.
Qassem said in a press statement that what happened at the Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards is a real great heroism that thwarts the plans of the occupation.
He added that the Israeli institutions and the extremist settlers lived in a state of panic, which is an evidence of their failure in the will battle with the Palestinian people.
Qassem concluded in his statement that Al-Aqsa Mosque was and will remain Islamic, Arab, and Palestinian place.
Local sources reported today that massive of Israeli settler groups stormed Al Aqsa Mosque courtyards under the Israeli protection, which erupted clashes with Palestinians.
It added, Palestinian worshipers faced the storming when the Israeli soldiers shot rubber bullets and teargas bombs at them and arrested a man to evict them from the Al Aqsa courtyards and the Al Qibli prayer hall.
