Israeli bulldozers destroy two Palestinian-owned houses in Beit Dajan
Head of the Beit Dajan town council, Tawfiq al-Haj Mohammad, on Monday reported that in the Beit Dajan town, east of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, on Monday the Israeli forces destroyed two Palestinian-owned homes that were in the building stage under the pretext of structure without a permit.
He said that Israeli soldiers ransacked the town accompanied by bulldozers which proceeded to destroy the two homes, each was two floors and owned by two different local citizens.
The occupation claims the region the houses were built in was categorized as Area C, which is under full Israeli military control.
Local citizens tried to stop the destruction and clashed with the Israeli soldiers who fired teargas canisters at them causing many suffocation cases.
In nearby Foroush Beit Dajan, Israeli forces also destroyed a greenhouse owned by a local citizen under the pretext of structure in a “firing zone” spot.
