68.12% of students pass Tawjihi high school exam in Palestine
At least 85000 male and female students in all Palestinian regions across Palestine posed in the Tawjihi high school exam last June.
Around 85,000 students posed this year’s Tawjihi exams in Palestine, the Ministry of Education stated today Saturday 30 July 2022 with 68.12 achieving pass marks.
This year’s exam season came after a tough year for students, not only because of the ongoing tough situation in the occupied Palestinian Territories but also because they took under a suffocating Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip.
Besides, students in the West Bank experienced hardships as a result of the ongoing Israeli occupation associated with the Palestinian Authority’s crackdown in the occupied West Bank following its killing of activist Nazar Banat.
Spokesman for the Ministry of Education, Mohammad Awwad, paid special mention to the Tawjihi students who were killed by the Israeli occupation forces this year, namely Kamel Abdullah Alawneh, Mutasem Atallah, and Hanan Khdour.
