SWEDISH AUTHORITIES ‘KIDNAPING’ ARAB & MUSLIM CHILDREN: PROTESTS AND CONDEMNATIONS

Thousands of children are wrongfully taken away from their Arab and Muslim families by Swedish Social Services every year, which is tragic. Many of these families fled their home nations in search of a better life in Sweden, fleeing injustice and violence.

The Swedish Social Foundation forcibly separated children from their Arab and Muslim families under the guise of carelessness, according to Abdullah Al Sharif’s YouTube channel.

Report: After 15 years of siege, children in Gaza live with depression, grief, fear

Every year, according to the Swedish center for information, 20,000 children are taken from their families.

The tale of Moroccan immigrant Selwa Lina, who was found dead in her flat after being separated from her kid, was covered by the center. Her cause of death was never revealed.

The anguish and intense pain she conveyed in a video she shared before her death, on the other hand, was tragic. Her story and her anguish after losing her son were detailed in the video. Another video of her son saying his final goodbye to his mother in a cemetery went popular on social media.

Lina’s plight, as well as many other Arab and Muslim sorrowful testimonials regarding the Swedish Social’s aggressive actions, sparked international criticism and condemnation. Protests and pressure from throughout the world have led to a rejection of methods that violate children’s and their families’ basic rights.
Many human rights groups accused Swished Social of targeting Muslim families on a regular basis.

Traumatic Separation
A social worker and human rights activist in the United States revealed to Al-Estiklal the contents of a letter they submitted to the Swedish embassy in the United States, urging that they take action against the violations: “I can’t imagine the agony these poor families are going through without their children.” Instead of educating immigrants and finding ways to help them respect Sweden’s regulations and keep families together, videos released on social media show Swedish Social Services exploring ways to separate children from their families.”

“Separating a child from their parents is damaging and painful,” the letter continued. It will likely cause irreversible damage. It appears to be an issue of cultural and religious targeting in many cases. It’s crucial to understand these families’ backgrounds. In order to protect the children, it is critical to understand the backgrounds of these families.

Educating new families on the laws will also help to ensure that no children are abducted under false pretenses. Removing children from their parents in these situations is a clear violation of human rights and bad for your country’s image. “Seeing your policy in operation astounded and saddened me.”

Alternative Families: Rape and Suicide
Jasmin, 13 years old, committed herself after being forcibly removed from her family to be adopted by a wealthy Swedish family, according to an al-Sharif video. Similarly, Dina Hassan, 15, committed herself after her custody was transferred to a new Swedish family.

The suicides of those two children should serve as a wake-up call about the consequences of Sweden’s heinous social process.

On October 16, 2021, the Swedish TV Channel announced that a man was suspected of committing hundreds of sexual offenses against children in the northern Swedish province of Västerbotten over a period of many years.

The man had previously worked in a Social children’s home HVB and was also designated by the Swedish Social organization as a substitute father for two children.

The man had previously worked in a Social children’s home HVB, and also was designed by the Swedish Social organization as an alternative father for two children.

The man was arrested in July 2021, after the girl told a relative of the abuse she had been subjected to.

The man caring for children in the Swedish Social organization and who was judged qualified to adopt two children was sued for charges including 79 aggravated rape against a child, 178 rape against a child, in addition to a charge of using a child in pornography.

This is not to say that all social workers in Sweden are non-qualified, but to emphasize that the process of forcing children to be separated from their families should be reversed.

International Condemnation
There were numerous calls to action all throughout the world. In addition to initiatives calling attention to the Swedish Social Services’ unjust removal of Muslim children from their homes. Many activists voiced their dissatisfaction in letters to Swedish embassies, human rights organizations, and social media networks.

“This is a human rights issue, and simply being unhappy is not enough; we ask you to do your part,” a human rights activist told Al-Estiklal. Maintain professionalism in your communication, as the purpose is not to insult the Swedish government, but rather to persuade them to change their harsh policies concerning Muslim children. Remember! This might happen to your and my children.”

Muslims’ Worst Nightmare
Many institutions in various Western countries, such as the Sweden Social, follow up on situations of violence against children and guarantee that the child grows up in a healthy environment.

However, the behaviours of these institutions feed Muslims’ worries in various Western countries, as seen by the spread of several examples of forcibly removing Arab and Muslim children from their parents without regard for cultural differences.

According to Bassam Tabliah, an international law and human rights lawyer, the predominance of child custody withdrawal cases among Arab families in Europe is due to “lack of experience and awareness of the culture and laws of the country in which they reside.
