IOF destroys agricultural rooms in Salfit, issues demolition orders in Masafer Yatta
Israeli occupation forces on Monday knocked down three farming rooms in Kafr al-Dik village, west of Salfit in the northern West Bank, and asserted demolition orders against three other houses in the Masafer Yatta region in the south of the West Bank, according to local sources.
In Kafr al-Dik, Israeli forces cordoned off the Kafriya region in the northern part of the town and fired teargas canisters and stun grenades toward the town citizens who attempted to get their farmland before a bulldozer razed three agricultural rooms, decreasing them to rubble.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces summoned the destruction of three houses in the al-Juwaya community in Masafer Yatta in the southern West Bank district of Hebron.
Coordinator of the Protection and Resilience Committees, Fouad al-Amour, said that Israeli forces stormed the neighborhood and gave three citizens orders to demolish their homes.
He reported that the soldiers also gave a citizen of the nearby community of Ein al-Beida a notice to tear down his farming room.
Considered one of the eastern suburbs of Yatta, al-Juwaya is always targeted by the Israeli occupation standards planned to stop Palestinian construction expansion.
Masafer Yatta is a group of almost 19 villages that rely heavily on animal husbandry as the major source of livelihood.
