PA calls on Washington to remove PLO from terrorist lists
The Palestinian Authority on Tuesday called on the US administration, in an official message, to remove the Palestine Liberation Organization from the terrorism lists, according to the classification of Congress.
Member of the Executive Committee of the Liberation Organization, Hussein Al-Sheikh, said in a press statement vis his Twitter account that the request came in an official letter.
“We conveyed our shock and unequivocal rejection of this illegal and unjust classification of people under occupation,” he added, “yet the terrorist group (Kach) was removed from such lists.”
The Palestinian presidency strongly condemned and disapproved of the US State Department’s decision to remove the Israeli terrorist Kahane Hay (Kach) movement from the US State Department’s list of foreign terrorist organizations, which was approved by Congress.
