IOF destroys mosque in Qalqilya: sources
A mosque near the city of Qalqilya in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday was destroyed by Israeli occupation forces (IOF).
The IOF razed a mosque that was under construction in the Arab al-Ramadin region, which is located behind the apartheid wall in the city of Qalqilya, in the north of the West Bank, and close to the “green line” between Israel and the West Bank, according to local sources.
They went on to say that the IOF has threatened to demolish the mosque if the Palestinians who are building it don’t.
The demolition of the mosque was condemned by the Palestinian Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs as a clear act of assault against Muslim holy sites.
On a daily basis, Israel destroys Palestinian-owned homes and structures throughout the occupied West Bank.
The world community makes little or no comment when Palestinian houses and property are demolished. Israel is free to act as it pleases.
