Shtayyeh condemns horrific crime of killing Palestinian woman in Hebron
Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh condemned the horrific crime that killed the freed prisoner, Ghufran Warasna.
He said in a press statement that the Israeli army had to bear the fully responsible of this horrific crime.
“Organized ongoing terrorism didn’t face a deterrent punishment, which help the Israeli army to kill Ghufran Warasna, a released young prisoner today”, he said.
He added, “while the International Criminal Court sent 40 investigators to Ukraine in less than two months, it has not done so in Palestine for decades”.
At the same time, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) condemned the killing of liberated inmate, Ghufran Warasna, after the Israeli army shot her dead, allegedly for carrying out a stabbing attack.
Hamas leader, Ismail Radwan, said in a press statement that “the Israeli army committed a new crime by assassinating the liberated prisoner, Ghufran Warasna from Al-Arroub camp in Hebron.”
“Killing Ghufran Warasna will not be wasted; it will be a fuel for our people to keep resisting, as well as it a curse on the army that conducts war crimes,” he said.
Young woman, Ghufran Haroun Hamid Warasna, was killed by a bullet fired by Israeli soldiers that entered her chest from the left side (under the armpit) and exited from the right side, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
