Delivery service with drones in California
Amazon Group plans to launch an air delivery service in California this year, called Prime Air, a mode of transportation for goods that start-ups and large groups like Walmart have been working on for years.
The group announced in a statement Monday that Amazon plans to conduct practical tests in the California city of Lockeford.
“Later this year, residents will be able to register to benefit from free marching services,” Amazon said, without giving more details about the date.
The company is still waiting for the authorities to go ahead with this service.
Consumers will be able to choose from the “thousands of daily products” that marches will throw into their garden.
