Israeli settlers attack Palestinian shepherds in Jordan Valley
Israeli settlers on Monday attacked Palestinian shepherds and forced them to vacate the fields in the northern Jordan Valley, a local activist said.
Human rights defender, Aref Daraghmeh, said that the Israeli settlers chased and tried to assault the shepherds who were flocking their sheep east of Khillet Makhoul and forced them to leave the pastures that are close to their tents.
Settlers always attack shepherds, free their dogs to attack the sheep, and then call the Israeli forces to jail the shepherds for long hours in an try to capture their lands and kick them out of them in favor of settlement expansion.
