Beautiful masks inspired by animal noses
Beautiful masks were inspired by the noses of animals, a team of researchers at Cornell University in the United States created a new mask made in a 3D printing method that allows the user to breathe easily.
It provided the same level of protection as the N95 masks and face masks that doctors use during surgeries. The team of experts confirmed that these masks aid in breathing and provide superior illness protection.
A new 3D printed face mask design that resembles animal noses is available. According to the researchers, with such a high level of pathogen protection in such a mask, it is also easy to breathe.
The new mask performs similarly to clinically approved N95 masks as well as surgical masks. It can catch particles as small as 10 micrometers, which is required to avoid virus inhalation from airborne droplets.
It should be highlighted that the mask device’s main principle can be applied to improve industrial air filters used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
