UAE feels tremors caused by 6.3 magnitude earthquake in Iran
UAE residents reported experiencing tremors caused by the 6.3 magnitude earthquake that shook southern Iran on Saturday at 3:24 am, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) on Saturday.
NCM added that the earthquake, which killed five people in Iran, had no impact on the UAE.
State news agency IRNA said a 6.3 and 6.1 magnitude earthquake followed the 6.1 magnitude earthquake that razed Sayeh Khosh village near the Gulf coast of Iran. with more than a dozen reported aftershocks.
Iran has experienced several devastating earthquakes in recent years as major geological faults sweep across the country.
