Caretaker Prime Minister Yair Lapid invited opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu to a briefing this week in the wake of the possible signing of the nuclear agreement with Iran.
It is also expected that Lapid will speak by phone in the coming days with US President Joe Biden to present to him Israel’s reservations about the agreement.
The (Axios) website revealed, quoting an Israeli official, that the Americans assured Defense Minister Benny Gantz that they were not in a hurry to sign the nuclear agreement.
