Israeli soldiers sets fire at agricultural lands in Southern Gaza
Israeli soldiers on Wednesday set fire at Palestinian agricultural lands east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip according to local sources.
Sources reported that the Israeli soldiers, stationed in the Kissufim military base across the perimeter fence, fired many live rounds and several gas bombs into the Palestinian farms in the al-Wad region, east of the al-Qarara town, east of Khan Younis.
It clarified that the raid did not lead to casualties but forced the fishermen to leave, fearing additional violations by the soliders.
The Israeli occupation frequently assulats farmers, shepherds, workers, and fishermen across the eastern parts of the coastal region and in Palestinian territorial waters, leading to dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to ban the Palestinians from reaching their lands and from fishing to provide for their families.
Local sources said that in March of last year, the Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza said Israeli occupation is responsible for an explosion that led to the death of three fishermen.
