Israeli forces displace at least 1,300 Palestinians from eight villages
The Israeli occupation’s court authorized the eviction of roughly 1,300 Palestinians from eight towns late Wednesday in the completion of a two-decade-long dispute according to local sources.
It reported that the Palestinians living in the eight towns claimed against the decision.
“This is the final proof for us that there is no justice to be sought for Palestinians in ‘Israeli’ courts. There’s only justice for Jews,” Nidal Younes, a director of an unofficial local council of the villages said in a press statement.
Haaretz stated that the Israeli court denied the claim that displacing civilians from the region breaches international law, arguing that when it opposes Israeli law, the latter triumphs.
