Extremist Israeli lawmaker, Itamar Ben Gvir, resumed provoking the Palestinian citizens of Sheikh Jarrah’s neighborhood in occupied East Jerusalem when he come back on Monday to the neighborhood along with a couple of his supporters and immediately began trouble, local sources reported.
It reported that Ben Gvir, 45, who heads the Israeli far-right Otzma Yehudit party in the Israeli parliament, the Knesset, moved to a makeshift office he had illegally set up last month in the front yard of the house of the Palestinian Salem family and tried to attack citizens and activists taking watch in the area to protect the citizens from the Israeli aggression.
Israeli forces, who keep a regular sight in the region in light of the Israeli provocations, provided protection to Ben Gvir who has formerly caused severe conflict in the neighborhood as he and other Israeli settler fascists like him aim to evict Palestinians from their houses and return them with Israeli settlers.
