Israel launches missile defenses near Lebanon after misidentification
Israel on Thursday launched its missile defenses after misidentifying a threat near the Lebanese border, the Israeli military reported.
The incident also set off air raid sirens in parts of northern Israel.
“Due to misidentification, the air defense soldiers launched interceptors and as a result, an alarm was triggered,” the military said.
