Chess robot smashes 7-year-old boy’s finger
A chess robot broke a seven-year-old boy’s finger during a chess match in Moscow last week, Russian news outlets said.
“The robot broke the child’s finger,” Sergey Lazarev, Moscow Chess Federation President, narrated to Tass news agency. “This is of course bad.”
A video shared on social media reveals the robot taking one of the boy’s pieces then the boy then creates his own movie, and the robot catches his finger.
At least four adults rush to help the boy, who is finally freed and directed away.
Mr. Lazarev reported the machine had played many last matches without incident.
The boy was able to end the final days of the game in a cast, Tass said.
