Gold prices continue to decline globally
Gold prices fell during today’s trading, Tuesday, to continue their decline since the beginning of this week, after gaining about 1.6 percent last week.
According to global market data, the prices of the yellow metal in spot transactions decreased by 0.09%, or the equivalent of $1.27, to $1,778.22 per ounce, by 11.56 am UAE time.
Moreover, gold futures contracts for December delivery fell 0.29%, equivalent to $5.15, to reach $1,792.95 an ounce.
In terms of other precious metals, palladium fell 1.16% to $2,131.52, platinum fell 0.91% to $925.15, while silver fell 0.69% to $20.13 an ounce.
