Hamas condemns Israeli demolition of Ibrahimi Mosque
Spokesman of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas”, Abdel Latif Al-Qanou, on Monday condemned Israel’s demolishing of part of the Ibrahimi Mosque historical stairs.
He said in a press statement that Israeli army destroyed parts of the historical stairs of the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron to install the electric elevator, which is a new Judaization crime against Palestinan sanctities.
He stressed that the army’s goal is to impose complete Israeli control over the Ibrahimi Mosque, which is a major violation of all international values, norms and laws.
“We reject all these Judaizing and settlement projects and schemes in Hebron and the Palestinian territories, which will not change or obliterate the Arab and Islamic identities.
He called on Palestinan people to fight them with all means to thwart their schemes.
