Instagram is late to updating its launch, the reason is
A recent update by Instagram, showing videos and photos in full-screen mode, angered users including art celebrities, which makes the app step back from its update.
Instagram introduced a beta version of the app showing videos and photos by placing the full screen to be more similar to TikTok.
Reality TV stars Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner sparked sharp criticism of the new app, demanding that Instagram stop trying to convert to TikTok and return to its original design.
The director of Instagram Adam Mosseri, in a dialogue with Platformer, said, “Mistakes guide a person to change their thinking pattern to make it better.”
He added that the Instagram team needed to “make a big step backward, rethink how to come up with whole new ideas, we are already working on that”.
Social media experts linked Instagram to the app according to Sky News Arabic, with other motivations, most notably poor viewing and less user interaction with content after the new design, as well as a sharp complaint about the new app.
