A new wave of COVID19 hits the world in May-June
Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko stated that some countries have high numbers of COVID-19 infections, so Russia should be prepared for it.
Mikhail Murashko said in a press statement on April 13, that the risks of a new coronavirus pandemic wave remain.
According to the health minister, the number of coronavirus infections in Russia could increase by the end of May or early June.
He said, “I believe the period between late May and next June could have an increase in the number of coronavirus infections, and it will depend on our actions,”.
It is critical to realize that the intensity of the new wave will be determined by our actions as well as the actions of the population.
Its goal is to promote vaccination and preventive health measures according to him.
The minister said that the number of COVID-19 infections is increasing in some European countries and China. Mikhail Murashko advised Russians to brace themselves for such epidemiological developments.
