Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky, stated on Saturday that Russia intends to control the entire east and south of the country.
He claimed that Western nations had failed to supply Kyiv with adequate anti-missile defenses.
Zelensky also commended forces holding the besieged port of Mariupol in a late-night video speech, saying their resistance was allowing neighboring cities to gain critical time.
