Russia and Ukraine: Explosions rock of Odessa, after signing agreement to export Ukrainian grain
Explosions rocked the western Ukrainian port city of Odessa on Saturday morning, just a day after Kyiv and Moscow reached a landmark agreement allowing Ukraine’s grain exports to resume through the Black Sea.
Several explosions hit the city’s port on the Black Sea in the early hours of this morning.
The Ukrainian military said, in a statement published on the Telegram platform, that Russia attacked the commercial port of Odessa with cruise missiles, adding that two missiles hit the infrastructure of the operational port, while the Ukrainian defenses managed to shoot down two others.

The city’s deputy, Oleksiy Honcharenko, said on his Telegram page that there were six explosions in the city, adding that its port was on fire.
On his blog, the deputy suspected Moscow’s deception, saying: “These scammers sign contracts with one hand and direct missiles with the other.”
