Russia says peace talks not ready for leaders’ meeting
Russia stated that peace discussions had not developed sufficiently to warrant a meeting of world leaders and that Moscow’s position on the status of Crimea and Donbas remained unaltered, on Sunday.
On Telegram, Russian chief negotiator Vladimir Medinsky said, “The draft agreement is not ready for submission to a meeting at the top,” adding, “I say it again, Russia’s position on Crimea and Donbas remains UNCHANGED.”
