The letter “Z” appeared on the facade of the Moscow Theater “Oleg Tabakov” as a symbol of the Russian army’s victory in the Ukrainian military operation.
The initiative was taken by the theater’s artistic director, Vladimir Mashkov, according to a spokesman for the theater’s press office, who added that the matter was coordinated with the Moscow authorities.
The Moscow Times reported that the large letter “Z” was painted on the front of the theater in support of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine, adding, “I am proud that the theater appeared on its front with this letter, which symbolizes our homeland, our army, our president, and our children’s lives free of Nazis and Bandera’s associates.”
A Russian journalist posted a video on Telegram showing the installation of the letter “Z”.
Vladimir Mashkov, the well-known artist and artistic director of the Tabakov Theater in Moscow, delivered a speech on March 18 to commemorate the eighth anniversary of Crimea’s liberation and his return home, in which he mentioned the poem “The Failed Work” by the Russian poet of the nineteenth century.
Fyodor Tyutchev in his opinion described relations between Russia and the West, where the poet said that slaves are trying to be politically correct in front of Europe.
It is worth noting that the letter Z has served as the symbol of the Russian army’s special military operation in Ukraine since February 24.
