Israeli soldiers today chased Palestinians aiming to enter Israel via its apartheid barrier in the north of the occupied West Bank in order to work, according to local sources.
Sources said that soldiers broke into many villages and towns in the Jenin district located near the barrier, firing sound bombs and rubber bullets at the Palestinians who were attempting to cross the barrier to get to their workplaces in Israel. No serious injuries were reported.
Sources asserted that thousands of Palestinian enter Israel on daily bases via checkpoints or openings in the apartheid barrier for work, mainly in the construction business.
