Israel to destroy houses of two Palestinian inmates in Jenin
Israeli occupation forces handed on Thursday a notice of an imminent home destruction and mapped another home for future destruction in the town of Rummaneh, to the northwest of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, local sources said.
Sources said that an Israeli military force broke into the village and handed the family of Sobhi Sbeihat, a Palestinan prisoner in Israeli jails, a notification of Israel’s intention to punitively demolish their home soon.
Besides, the Israeli occupation forces mapped the home of the family of As’ad Refai, another prisoner in Israeli jails, for future punitive destruction.
Israeli forces authorities have long used to punitively destroy the family houses of Palestinians accused of carrying out attacks on Israelis, a policy that Israel does not apply to Israeli settlers who are included in fatal attacks against Palestinians.
This policy has been widely condemned by human rights groups as a collective punishment and a war crime.
