Hanna warns of Israeli judaization plans in old city
The Greek Orthodox Archbishop of Sebastia, Archbishop Atallah Hanna, on Monday warned of the seriousness and ongoing of the Israeli Judaization plans in Occupied Jerusalem, especially in the Old City.
The aim of the Israeli settlement plan is to evict Palestinians from the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City during the next two years, he said in press statements.
He asserted that the Israeli settlement activity in Occupied Jerusalem illegal and illegitimate.
“Jerusalem is in real danger, adding that the Jerusalemites are on the frontline in defense of their holy city”, he said.
He concluded that losing Jerusalem is not only a Palestinian loss but also a loss to the entire Arab nation and to the free people all over the world.
