Hamas welcomes UN special commission to investigate IOF crimes’ report
The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas on Sunday welcomed the United Nations Special Committee’s report that analyzes the Israeli occupation violations and documented crimes against the Palestinian land and people.
Hamas said in a press statement these crimes included cold-blooded killing, systematic torture against the Palestinian prisoners, forced deportation policies, discrimination, racial segregation, house destructions, denial of construction, colonial settlement expansion, theft of Palestinian natural resources, and the ongoing oppressive siege on our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip for over 15 years ago.
“Besides, the tens of last international reports, this report shows the extent of the Israeli occupation’s violations, crimes, and aggressive attacks against our Palestinian land and people”, the statement said.
It concluded, “We call on the international community, with its associations and organizations, to stand up to their humanitarian and human rights responsibilities, to stop the ongoing occupation violations, hold their leaders accountable as war criminals, confirm that they do not go unpunished, and obtain justice to our Palestinian people and their legitimate rights to freedom and self-determination”.
