Israel sets 6 punishments against Jenin
Israel, Israeli forces Minister, Beni Gantz, on Saturday evening decided to take a series of “punitive” measures targeting the northern West Bank, especially Jenin Governorate.
The Israeli Government Coordinator, Ghassan Aliyan, sets these punishments at the conclusion of a security meeting:
– A total ban on the entry and exit of Israeli Arabs into the city of Jenin, in cars, and walking through the Jalama and Barta crossings.
– A complete halt to the D2D removal of rock rubble through crossings in Jenin governorate.
– Ban the entry of traders and business leaders (BMC) from residents of the Jenin region into the territory of the State of Israel.
– The workers’ exit to Israel and other civil affairs will continue to operate as usual with an increased check of the crossings.
Family visits will be canceled via the 5,000 permits authorized for this purpose by Jenin governorate citizens.
