IOF shoots dead Palestinian lawyer in Nablus: sources
Palestinian lawyer, Mohammed Hassan Mohammed Assaf, 34, on Wednesday was shot dead by Israeli soldiers from the village of Kafr Laqif in Qalqilia according to local sources.
Local sources reported that 17 were injured, including in critical condition, during the Israeli occupation forces’ invasion into Nablus and the towns of Beta, Urif, and the Labun Sharqia.
The Ministry of Health clarified that young Assaf was killed after being shot in the chest by the Israeli occupation troops during this morning’s attack against Nablus.
Director of the Red Crescent Ambulance and Emergency in Nablus, Ahmed Jibril, reported that five Palestinians were wounded by live bullets, five by rubber and one by a gas bomb, as well as a young man who was injured by an occupation patrol, and eight others by asphyxiations, during massive clashes with Israeli occupation forces in the Jusuf Tomb area.
